Week 1 Fantasy QB Rankings

(1) Aaron Rodgers (GB) @ Jacksonville:

Despite the newly improved Jaguars defense, Rodgers will have no problem hitting his traditional “Discount Double-Check” dance move in the end zone repeatedly against them. With Jordy Nelson back from his knee injury, Randall Cobb will have more opportunities to make big plays by not being double-teamed as often as last year. Rodgers will also have the ability to make check-down throws to the thinned out Eddie Lacy and back-up running back James Starks.

Confidence to finish top-5 in QBs in Week 1: 10/10

(2) Russell Wilson (SEA) v. Miami:

Wilson will have to shoulder the load for the first time in his NFL career with the departure of running back Marshawn Lynch via retirement this offseason. Thankfully, Wilson will have multiple options in the Seahawks’ high-flying offensive attack. Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett return as playmakers on the outside. The duo are joined by Jimmy Graham, who is back from his knee injury. Graham’s health could play a large part into the success of the Seahawks’ offense this season.

Confidence to finish top-5 in QBs in Week 1: 9/10

(3) Drew Brees v. Oakland

Brees has finished with at least 4,300 passing yards and at least 33 touchdowns in each of the past eight seasons. He has a great chance to start the 2016 season off with a bang, as he draws the Raiders as a Week 1 matchup. Brandin Cooks will be joined by a pair of newcomers that will help bolster the Saints’ offense. Michael Thomas was drafted in the 2nd round (out of Ohio State University) by New Orleans in the latest draft. The two wideouts will play alongside Coby Fleener, who the Saints signed in free agency from the Indianapolis Colts. Fleener could very well receive the same amount of targets as Jimmy Graham did in his prime with the Saints.

Confidence to finish top-5 in QBs in Week 1: 9/10
